Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between STIKes MRHJ and DMSFI Philippines

GEMARI.ID-JAKARTA. STIKes Mitra RIA Husada Jakarta welcomed guests from the Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. (DMSFI), Philippines, today. The main agenda of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the two parties. This signing marks the beginning of academic collaboration, particularly in the field of research, as conveyed by the Marketing, Public Relations, and Cooperation Division of STIKes MRHJ to the gemari.id team in Jakarta today, Tuesday (January 20, 2026).

DMSFI presented eight people: Dr. Lourdesita S. Chan, PhD, Chair of the DMSFI Foundation; Atty. Alberto Rafael L. Aportadera, J.D., PhD, President; Mr. Roland B. Pagtolon, PhD, Dean of Midwifery, and other DMSFI leaders. The group was very well recieved by the President of STIKes Mitra RIA Husada Jakarta, Dr. Sri Danti Anwar, MA, along with all structural officials and academics.

Based on the agreement outlined in the MoA, both parties agreed to conduct joint faculty research as a form of international academic collaboration. Under this partnership, DMSFI is committed to funding the joint faculty research, which is expected to improve the quality and quantity of faculty research outputs from both institutions.

Through this activity, STIKes Mitra RIA Husada Jakarta and Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. hope to strengthen institutional ties, enhance the quality of the Tridharma of higher education, and open opportunities for further collaboration in education, research, and community service at the international level. @mulyono_dp
